=D Wow, that was hilarious! The dialogue is excellent.

  2. On Reading Aprehension:

Oh, that’s a good one. Synesthesia. I have a cousin with it – she says that the letter R is an old fart. xD It’s hard to believe that for her, every individual letter has its own personality.

  3. On The (Formerly) Most Thrilling Job of the Afterlife:

    posted about 1 year ago

Oh my. It’s well written, albeit in a sort of…gory way. =)

I like your addition of the fates into the story.

  4. On *o* Allelujah! Allelujah! My 100th Ficlet! My 100th Ficlet! Allelujah!!:

    posted about 1 year ago

congrats on reaching 100 =) I’m still a loooooooong way away

  5. On Doesn't Anyone Think of the Deaths:

    posted about 1 year ago

=D This is an awesome sequel – very funny

  6. On H-E-Double-Hockeysticks (Euphemism):

    posted about 1 year ago

Interesting view on the cussing. I never thought of it like that =)

  7. On School and How It Drove Me Insane:

    posted about 1 year ago

Oops. Um…the narrator starts “talking” first, and her friend is the one that says “wrm sweet tasty.” Their conversation of course goes back and forth between the two of them.

  8. On Please. Learn From the Mistakes:

    posted about 1 year ago

Yeah, it is a stretch, but I’ve learned so much about the Holocaust and how terrible it was that I felt sort of, compelled, to write some more.

  9. On Outdistance Death With Insanity:

    posted about 1 year ago

Hmm…..should I make the vampire thing more obvious? I kind of made it subtle on purpose but…I guess in this case that’s not a good thing? *
Treaty? What treaty? Guess I’ll have to find out =)

  10. On A Necessary Evil:

    posted about 1 year ago

Oh yeah. I really should sequel this, shouldn’t I…...

  11. On Not Dreaming:

    posted about 1 year ago

Ah, I see. Well then….I guess Fyora got the subtle hint =)
Haha. Well, if it had been more or less than 2 eyes she probably would have had a heart attack and where would the story be then?

  12. On (Genre: Sci-Fi) The Gemini Experiment:

    posted about 1 year ago

=P Is your connection to reality broken often? I know mine is. Zone out time

    Yay! It’s intriguing =)

  13. On Until Death Do Us Part:

    posted about 1 year ago

Even though I’ve never experienced anything like this sort of sadness, I think I can imagine.
And just imagining is hard enough. =(

  14. On The Perils of Losing Yourself in a Story:

    posted about 1 year ago

xDD hmm…paperclip…I could maybe use that in a sequel. Except that might be too gory. =)

    Thanks.

  15. On A Light in the Darkness:

    posted about 1 year ago

    Oh, and thank you everybody!!

  16. On A Light in the Darkness:

    posted about 1 year ago

I guess so. I mean, obviously, snowflakes don’t have feelings, so that part can be sort of weird. But I think other than that…they fit? Like, the chemicals raining down can be taken either as like…salt that causes snow to melt, or of course as the gas from the gas chambers.

  17. On Beautiful Disaster:

    posted about 1 year ago

Yeah, I was just lucky enough to think of a story crazy enough and creepy enough to be sci-fi.

  18. On Yeah, I'm Laughing At You:

    posted about 1 year ago

Yep, it’s definitely creepy. This whole sci-fi idea of mine is kind of strange.

And I agree with you about apathy being everywhere around us now. =(

  19. On The Prisoner Who Holds Her Own Key:

    posted about 1 year ago

Thanks =) Yeah, I was hoping the mindset of the disorder seemed right.

  20. On Falling Apart:

    posted about 1 year ago

Wow. I espcially love the ending. It’s simplistic in sound but still really deep. Excellent use of syntax too =D

  21. On The Prisoner Who Holds Her Own Key:

    posted about 1 year ago

Um…I declare this “poem”: too depressing, too abstract, and too weird.

If you couldn’t figure it out, the story is centered around the illness of anorexia nervosa and my own extremely unknowledgeable interpretation of its effect on people.

So….any thoughts? And did I break any rules for the challenge? I dunno if I had the right idea…

  22. On Tying My Shoes:

    posted about 1 year ago

=( That made me feel sad. But because it did, that means you did a great job with characterizing the way she perceives her surroundings.

  23. On H-E-Double-Hockeysticks (Euphemism):

    posted about 1 year ago

Thanks, yeah, I think I see what you mean.

If anyone got confused, the setting is probably at school or something like that, given the appearance of the cheerleaders.

  24. On Need a challenge?:

    posted about 1 year ago

    so…..basically just free verse?

  25. On H-E-Double-Hockeysticks (Euphemism):

    posted about 1 year ago

Thanks! =) It’s kinda refreshing to see someone, albeit, a made-up someone, who goes to the extreme of looking stupid in order to avoid cussing.

Btw, in case my definition of a euphemism was unclear to anyone who didn’t already know what it was, I wikied it =)

“Euphemism is the substitution of an agreeable or inoffensive expression for one that may offend or suggest something unpleasant to the listener.”

  26. On H-E-Double-Hockeysticks (Euphemism):

    posted about 1 year ago

    =D Thanks

  27. On H-E-Double-Hockeysticks (Euphemism):

    posted about 1 year ago

Oh yeah. I read somewhere that back then, in some books, they used words like, “here” and “there” to represent “hell” because it was improper =)

And I’m sorry for the use of the word in the first place. I never cuss. But this seemed like a funny idea.

  28. On H-E-Double-Hockeysticks (Euphemism):

    posted about 1 year ago

Sorry if this seems weird, but I had the idea, and voila! It’s written and published before I can have second thoughts.

Do you guys get it? Euphemisms are like “nicer” ways of saying things that shouldn’t be said. I know euphemisms aren’t necessarily little-known, but I’m pretty sure they aren’t used much in literature itself, so I just went ahead with it.

It’s definitely not that great though.

  29. On Of Jibjabbing Whangerdoodles and Krakenbiscuits (Portmanteau):

    posted about 1 year ago

Oh wow, that was absolutely hilarious!! “Sorry doesn’t cut the cripcrap” ???? xDDDD

  30. On School and How It Drove Me Insane:

    Food groups:

    Bread – Fruit loop cereal
    Fruit – Lemon
    Vegetable – Beet
Meat – Squirrel meat (ew) =)
    Dairy – Swiss cheese
    Fats/Oils – Cookies!!

  31. On School and How It Drove Me Insane:

    posted about 1 year ago

Haha, this one was fun to write. By the way, I apologize for the suggestive use of the “F” word. I swear that I am a non-cusser, but I just HAD to use the word fruitloop. >< Is everyone ok with that? And hopefully my food references aren’t either too obvious or not obvious enough. Enjoy!

  32. On Please. Learn From the Mistakes:

    posted about 1 year ago

I know the whole snowflake analogy is kind of at a stretch in this sequel, but I wanted to write this more to send a message to everyone. About how humanity has made its awful mistakes and that we can’t let those same mistakes happen again.

  33. On Not Quite Happily After, Ever (part two):

    posted about 1 year ago

Your writing style is really quite amazing. I love it =)

  34. On Find the Elevator, Save the World!:

    posted about 1 year ago

“alphabetically inclined amorphous blob” – loved that line! =D

by the way, you have great titles, really piques a reader’s interest

  35. On You Gotta Be Kniding Me, Charlie:

    posted about 1 year ago

xDD this is one crazy story! I love it =) Makes me want to read Charlie and the Glass Elevator again

  36. On Owwwwww.:

    posted about 1 year ago

=) haha that was fun to read! I was thinking about trying to do the IM window, but you did a much better job than I could have done

  37. On A Light in the Darkness:

    posted about 1 year ago

Oh yeah, in case anyone couldn’t tell, this sort of represents both a snowflake and the Holocaust. Sad and ugly for the horrors that can/did happen, but beautiful for the strength of the people who struggled to survive amidst all the darkness.

  38. On A Light in the Darkness:

    posted about 1 year ago

=D Thank you so much! I didn’t know it would be this much of a success.

  39. On A Light in the Darkness:

    posted about 1 year ago

So….guess what it is!! It’s supposed to seem like two different things….one thing that’s on your list, and another that’s much much different.

How did it sound? I wanted it to sound nice, but it mostly just sounds…bad >< and horribly un-lyrical/poetic

  40. On Birds, Planes, and...Vermicious Knids?:

    posted about 1 year ago

Extremely amusing! “beat the tar out of some foliage?” xDDD

  41. On Beautiful Disaster:

    posted about 1 year ago

Well, amazingly enough, it really is my first sci-fi. Believe me, I’m just as wow-ed as you are that it hasn’t crashed and burned yet =)

  42. On The Whole Truth:

    posted about 1 year ago

This is amazingly written!! You really have a way with words. Great job! =D

  43. On Vestiges of Life Before:

    posted about 1 year ago

Wow, this is pretty awesome. A sequel would be great, because I want to see what happens next! =)

  44. On Cookies:

    posted about 1 year ago

=) I love it, and it’s definitely true. Cookies make the world go ‘round.

  45. On It's A Small World:

    posted about 1 year ago

Thanks. The picture looked so strange I had to write about it =) I wasn’t intending on continuing, but maybe I will…

  46. On Behind the Scenes of a Soap Opera:

    posted about 1 year ago

    =D Hehe, very entertaining!

  47. On Not Dreaming:

    posted about 1 year ago

=D Thanks, glad you like it!

Why are blue eyes significant in sci-fi? I’m not much of a sci-fi writer or reader…

  48. On (Genre: Sci-Fi) The Gemini Experiment:

    posted about 1 year ago

Thanks! Yep, this has been my first try at sci-fi. And I just realized now its similarity to the Matrix (whoops!). I didn’t realize it as I was writing it…but it’ll definitely be different if you read the coming sequel! =)

  49. On The Riddling Contest:

    posted about 1 year ago

I’m guessing an egg. My own thoughts, I swear! =)

  50. On The Car of Clocks:

    posted about 1 year ago

Cool names for the cars =)

I noticed as I read that you said, “No, I came out of curiosity.” And it just occurred to me that that could’ve been another play on words…as in:

“No, I came out of curiosity.”

“You did? But how can that be? The Curiosity car is all the way at the other side of the train.”

Hehe. Me and my corny jokes

  51. On All Aboard:

    posted about 1 year ago

That’s a really interesting idea. And you just thought of it randomly? I love the play on words =D

  52. On Still Lost and Getting Lost-er:

    posted about 1 year ago

Does everyone know what fan-girls are? You know, those girls (or maybe guys…I don’t know) who gush over and adore certain amazing characters from books or stories. I’d say that Edward from Twilight by Stephenie Meyer has his own army of fan-girls to worship him.

  53. On A Lesson to Be Learned:

    posted about 1 year ago

Read the bold-print! Can you see the irony there? You can’t just focus on the bold and the obvious, because then you’ll miss all of the important details that lie underneath =)

  54. On (Genre: Sci-Fi) The Gemini Experiment:

    posted about 1 year ago

Ug, ficlets are hard to write. They’re so short! I kind of wanted to add more, but I guess I could write a sequel later. So…intriguing enough?

  55. On Until Death Do Us Part:

    posted about 1 year ago

    =D Thanks

  56. On The Perils of Losing Yourself in a Story:

    posted about 1 year ago

Yeah, hopefully the cliff-hanger joke was obvious enough =) And thanks.

  57. On Dismal DVD Days:

    posted about 1 year ago

It’s a vampire story! And I see that you’ve read Eclipse. It’s an amazing series, isn’t it? This seems great so far.
