Good story, it begs for a sequel to be written for it.

I agree with Saint Chuck, it is perfect for a novel.

Where are you that a book costs you twenty bucks? I mean, if you get a big hardcover book, that makes sense, but if you get a paperback, it might cost you ten. Oh, and why read a book only once? I’ve read some of my books 20 times. As you can see, this ficlet made me think, which is usually a good thing.

I’m so glad the only Apple product I have is an old iPod shuffle that I barely use. Hopefully, that allow me to be led astray to gentler technology, like nuclear bombs and killer robot soldiers. Good ficlet.

The only reason to use those abbreviations in IMs is because it allows the conversation to go faster, but in spoken language, it just slows things down.

This is one story that is begging for a sequel and is also very good. I love cliffhanger stories.

My answer to the book question is that the book gives you an escape from the rest of the world. Loved the ficlet, keep on keepin’ on.

Really good story, it kind of make you think about how life does change.

That is a good ficlet, the only thing that I would change is spelling distroyer as destroyer, but that is not such a big mistake. Keep up the good writing.

You should check out my story, it’s titled Nirvana! and I’m not sure where to find it, but you just need to search for nirvana in the tags. Good job!

  162. On Nirvana!:

As far as I am concerned, if you imagine that there are two spaces after every line, this is a one sentence ficlet at nirvana. Go ahead and complain. Like I say in the ficlet, if you can do better, go ahead.

I was wondering, have you (the author) ever read the short story titled “How Lonesome a Life Without Nerve Gas”? It was on Escape Pod a while ago and the weapons in your ficlet reminds me of the weapons in the story. This is not a bad thing, but an interesting twist to the technology.

I feel that this story requires a little explanation. I wrote a note to him saying that I will be the future ruler of the Galilean Moons of Jupiter (Io, Callisto, Europa, and Ganymede) and that he will regain the position mentioned in his profile. This story is his response to my note. That’s about all you need to know to understand this.
