  2. On Ice Planet Part 6:

    posted 6 months ago

Wow. Just finished reading all five episodes. Where are you going? Are they stuck in the crater? Anyone hurt? Can the beautiful red head save the day?

  3. On Nightwalker Offering:

    posted 6 months ago

Wasn’t thinking of the Cats thing I was going back to the original Hive mind I set up in the hive http://ficlets.com/stories/12201. If Burgarz doesn’t do it give me some ideas. As the lesser drones are more worker ant types getting food for themselves and their queen I believe their language to be limited
what about something more guttural. Gurrz or maybe name the Queen

  4. On The Gathering:

    posted 6 months ago

I liked this as well. I finally added a bit to blizno’s sequel. Add some more about the guy

  5. On The Feast:

    posted 6 months ago

Liked your guy in the background. He has witnessed the ceremony. what now? check and see the sequel. Was Tyson sobbing here?

  6. On Norton's post-apocalypse (exciting conclusion!):

    posted 7 months ago

Not bad! After seeing I am Legend this could possibly be Norton’s fate. Norton and his Appliances. Felt bad for the Toaster after all he was just being himself probably a hot Latino. Why hasn’t anyone else read this? I have an excuse ain’t been on for two months

  7. On Old is Relative:

    posted 9 months ago

Wow sorry to hear that “My iPods are broken”. To have no TV, computer or protable gaming device (I like my PSP) today is like only having fire to cook on and wash your clothes in the river. When we lost power for 10 days during the hurricanes of 2004 we were all lost. I was saved by a propane camping burner stove.
Glad you liked it. What will your kids have that can’t think of today?

  8. On I'm Getting Old:

    posted 9 months ago

Fyora I was going to sequel but then I realized I had to prequel you because I predate most yawl yet I don’t feel totally lost. There is a time when we reminisce about our lost childhood and how things have changed. The gaps are growing but we must grow with them or be left behind as Ana Cristina says there are good things that come with age, too. :-)

  9. On Never Going Home:

    posted 9 months ago

I am glad you liked it. Did you happen to visit Vanessa’s photo. I wrote this from what the photgraph evoked. As I finished it I realized I am not sure where to go. Sort of triggered from an abduction ring that was featured in a dateline report.

  10. On the hive:

    posted 9 months ago

Read it aloud and see what it does to the character. I am trying to give that evil lisping spitle type dialog

  11. On And the winner of the YodaOnCrack Halloween Challenge is....:

    posted 10 months ago

Kind of late to the party but I have to admit your podcast of the Pitchfork Children kicked butt. That was one of my top ten glad to have been able to help. I will have to try harder next time around

Great Job!! Great Challenge!! Honored to be a part of it all!

  12. On A Long Walk:

    posted 10 months ago

Loved the Jantoo fairy as well. I have to remember to keep it light because Rick and Dan make this fun. The Druid is coming!!!

  13. On The Reflection:

    posted 10 months ago

Awesome! Wish i kept up with it is Batak going to continue?

  14. On Reality dawning:

    posted 10 months ago

Needed to post a rating hey this deserves at least a four for such a total reality mini ficlet one character at a time.

  15. On Reality dawning:

    posted 10 months ago

Ok I couldn’t resist either enjoy!

  16. On How could we possibly run out?:

    posted 10 months ago

Don’t see a problem here. Wonderful way to introduce the future method of instruction ala the matrix. A neuro implant allows the entire class to see and participate without distracting each other. Totally immersed in the subject matter WoW! Not into the pain in the neck!

  17. On The Tree of Hope:

    posted 10 months ago

Didn’t see the tree bit but it worked. Let’s see what m8ryx is gonna do. Where thinking tree of life? The white tree of Gondor? mmmm

  18. On We come out at night:

    posted 10 months ago

Eventhough I created Leader 44 I liked the way he went and the new twist of hunting at night. Now we need to sniff out Tabitha…..

  19. On Becoming Lillia:

    posted 10 months ago

Excellent. Loved the end was wondering how you were going to scare us. Stuck in a painting forever!

  20. On Drifting Melodies:

    posted 10 months ago

The part of the radio is not relevant. She hears this whether she wants to or not and thinks it is a broadcast song. Great job. True it is not Uber scary but hit us with a uber scary sequel

  21. On The Song of the Pitchforked Children:

    posted 10 months ago

Very Creepy. Only critique I had was the line they attacked her bloody should it be they attacked her, bloody or
they attacked and bloodied her. Loved the creepy sing song poetic verse

  22. On A fortunate turn:

    posted 10 months ago

Way to carry on the story. Still want to know how THEY are. Nice way to bring in Tabitha

  23. On Dark Entities:

    posted 10 months ago

Nice build up, like the heart threatening to escape the bony chamber You lost me by time you got to the last line. After your eyes open slam me with the image of your dead grandfather and then frantically rationalize why it can’t be. Just a suggestion

  24. On The Black, Black Room:

    posted 10 months ago

Liked this and it did set suspense and get me sympathetic with the character. Did not have a problem with the tenses.

  27. On They Don't Come Out at Night:

    posted 10 months ago

Nicely done. The pace held me all the way. The tears turn dust to mudd excellent way to portray the arid conditions.

  28. On A new pet:

    posted 10 months ago

Moving on towards some intriguing Greek god breeding with the locals a Hercules maybe?

  29. On Carrying out Father's wishes:

    posted 10 months ago

Different. What did they do to deserve the punishment? Liked the the way that gods simply knew, that 5,358 beings had died so far line.

  30. On Vampire Dream:

  33. On YodaOnCrack Halloween Challenge:

    posted 10 months ago

What a challenge!! I have not read them all but there are some great ones here. Gave it a shot and posted two. How are you going to judge em all? Need help?

  34. On Midnight:

    posted 10 months ago

Very good portrayal of a love that never was. For a fourteen year old you have a way with juxtaposing thought yet making it poetic. Keep it up!

  35. On The Coming Storm:

    posted 10 months ago

Checked out the story yeah these things are scary. Your writing gives them personality viruses are alive. great job

  40. On Dan's Awakening:

    posted 11 months ago

Nice loved the hairy spiders as blankets and pillows. Ever read the Star Wars New Jedi Order series where the Yuuzhan Vong use Bio-technology and all their technology is alive

  41. On Sleep:

    posted 11 months ago

Nice. We all wish we could sleep and live in the dream world.. We need to be editors of each others stuf. eg Where peace reigns at the exact time as chaos change to
Where peace and chaos reign … together?
intermingling seeminglessy at the same time … coexisting? etc

  42. On Take Back:

    posted 11 months ago

  43. On Push back:

I am not sure you will like the sequel but the words took me in a different direction.

  44. On Rock What:

    posted 11 months ago

In reply to the missing quotations because of the extreme limitation in character count I figured most would forgive the lack of quotes

  45. On Event horizon:

    posted 11 months ago

Liked the setting. The time and space shifting while skirting a black hole awesome!

  46. On Sans Terif:

    posted 11 months ago

Liked the “bio-parented” phrase and whole naming the clone prior to torture. So we are we going? More more more

  47. On Tachylan:

    posted 11 months ago

Nice follow up. Never thought of a city floating like that in space but why not? Sort of a Venice in space. Now give us where abouts, red dwarf, nebula’s, orbiting anything, asteroids etc

  48. On Leda:

    posted 11 months ago

I’m not big on the Greek myths but liked the whole piece ficlet to ficlet. Question is Leda a goddess or a Landowner? Was unsure why Demeter was thinking of Leda, praying to her or worrying she would come down hard on him. Not that it matters she is dead but can’t cross the river Styx, yes?

  49. On Behind the Scenes of a Soap Opera:

    posted 11 months ago

Gotta say ya had me and the end just made reading through the trash worth it. Great job!!

  56. On The Tube:

    posted 11 months ago

For everyone who enjoyed this. This was fairly true to my story a year ago. Never thought I had a problem until that fateful day. My god it took hours to calm down.

  61. On In the Great Meadow:
