To start off topic of the story, most of the reviewers seem to be biased based on “Omg furry taht r BAD!!1”. Just because there is, well, dog sex in the story doesn’t mean you should judge it for that…
...I mean, isn’t there so much more to judge it based on? (The previous comments summed up my opinion on this story, btw.)
I’m really not too sure what to say. It’s awesome; but in an undefinable way. The connection probably is the main cause of this, but anyways, keep it up. Stuff like this is the literature of the Gods. :D
Please put this as mature. Excessive cursing is a biiiiig no-no here on ficlets.
Either way, it seems rather odd. Perhaps it is my misunderstanding of junior high (or high) school female culture, or my inability to read swiftly typed text messages, but I’d make the series a little more accessible to the general public.
Same as BARomero, I indeed did check out the website. Just, nice.
It leaves a slight bit of mystery around the end, which is nice. Are the main characters against the AZC, or for it? Are they killing the zombies, or are they raiding the HQ? No one can know, though the section which speaks about how they wish to find “their evil plans” speaks volumes which are unspoken… Nice.
It’s all deep, man. Nice metaphors, this is all-around awesome. I see a sequel opportunity, perhaps similar with the other side of the combat? Just sayin’.
Lol, nice socially based laugh. I can’t find too many problems with this that aren’t based on my own biases, so I am not going to put them here. ... Though ya could prequel it. :P
Punkin, stop asking for people to sequel you. Its shameless and makes them not want to sequel you even more.
On Topic: The series is excellent. One thing I’d watch out for is keeping a reader’s interest though. If something is simply all mystery and no even vague clues to tempt the reader’s interest, it sways them from really feeling the plot. So add some very vague, imprecise clues. You should have a grand scheme of what is going on, and only give small bits of information to the reader.
Nicely done! I like the dynamic point of view throughout the series; it adds flavor en masse. With a little luck, I can learn to type on this god-forsaken laptop enough to continue my series. Your story has truly been an inspiration; for that I thank you.
Interesting. It’s symbolizing…. Kind of real life, how the feelings of others can often cause you to change your actions. Sequelworthy… but I haven’t the time, nor the inspiration.
:) It’s part of a long running series. A bit strange, but… whatever. Feel free to write your own endings, or whatever, because until Christmas (or after!) I probably won’t.
In fact, I encourage others’ sequeling or prequeling of this series. The official story will be all written by me, though.
On my Laptop. Waiting for inspiration to hit me in the head.
Inspiration is so fickle… but regardless…
Hello. Whilst I do not care whether or not you read this, I will pour my heart out with it.
Currently, I am going through a ficlet list purification process. Gonna preen back a lot of my work.
For awhile, I am going to head back to short stories and the like. Might start a new series. I’ll Always Love You is on moderately ironic indefinite hiatus.
I also have an account on fanfiction.net. http://www.fanfiction.net/~mastertaurenchieftain
Let’s see… I think I’ve got it all. I listen to classical music and occasionally attempt to compose it, and I judge popular music on a song by song basis.
Whelp, that’s about it.
