I kind of agree with Denubis, this ficlet would be a good way to round them all off, going full circle with the idea of hope, but still leaving enough unanswered so as not to be spoilt.
Having said that, I still want to know what happens!!!
Haven’t played defcon, but I’m glad that you were able to understand the story and see where I was going with it. Both this and ‘Machine’ were inspired by a ficlet called ‘The Fifteenth’, but I felt I should get a few of my own ficlets down and see what reaction they get before doing any proper prequels/sequels.
Having graduated from my Film and TV studies degree last summer I’m not sure what I want to do next, but I enjoy being creative, so I thought I’d give ficlets a try.
If you like what you see, encouraging coments are always welcomed. If you don’t like it, constructive criticism is always welcomed as well.
I’ve written a few ficlets now, and for some reason you guys seem to like them. Personally I still think they’re a bit hit and miss, but there’s only one way to improve . . .
If by any chance you want to write prequels and/or sequels, by all mean please feel free.
