The typo-ish stuff is most definately the character’s slang-ish way of talking. But as for whether it’s post-apocalyptic or modern day LA, I think I’ll just keep you all guessing. For now, at least. =]
I am surprised to say that I outdate you, Stovohobo. My first ficlet was written May 26, 2007 and was number 3347. But I have yet to write 100 ficlets. =] LoA
I guess you could call me an “aspiring” author, but it’s mostly just a hobby. Not to mention I’m my own worst critic when it comes to my stories/ficlets. I’m also kind of the average person, loud, semi-obnoxious, yadda yadda. I love to read of course and I imagine that, and past/present experiences, is where I get my ideas for my stories. And no, I don’t do poetry.. I can never quite get it right. I love it when people comment, rate, and send me notes about my stories. It’s great to have feedback, even criticism; it makes me a better writer.
