I’ve been there. You do a great job of capturing the emotions; on the one hand, wanting to keep holding on, but on the other, not wanting to suffocate the person. Wonderfully written.

We aren’t fighting. We aren’t even talking. The poem has nothing to do with him whatsoever, and I apologize if he is narcissistic enough to think so and complain about it. It is frustrating me that everyone thinks that I’m at fault here, considering that he and I have not talked in quite some time.

I like this a lot…it leaves a lot of room for possibilities. This is different than many other six- word memoirs, because there could be a whole story behind it. It is amazing how so much potential is packed into six words. Simply wonderful.

I’m basically just your average writer;quiet, withdrawn, and tragically misunderstood…uh,yea..Definitely not. That’s just about my complete opposite. I’m loud,
energetic, and the life of the party. My writing side is like my other personality, I guess you could say. In case you were reading my poems and wondering, all of them come from my past experiences, and that is what drives me to write. These memories sometimes become overwhelming to me, and writing is the only way that I enjoy expressing my emotions. So, coincidentally, I apologize if my poems seem depressing or oppressive.

Just another note for you: I am currently writing the “places of my mind catena”, which is basically a series about the wonderful places that my mind wanders. It’s sort of self-explanatory.
