Ficlets

Musician and writer, born and raised in the beautiful mountains of Eastern Kentucky. I’m a Vietnam Veteran, former intelligent analyst in the Air Force. I’ve written on book of poems, “The Land of One-Armed Men” and am presently 60,000 words into a novel I worry will be three times as long unless it really gets out of control.

Most of my writing has been screen writing, so making the jump from the script form to fiction is a big step for me. After 10 years of writing a pretty strict form, the freedom fiction gives me is a bit scary.

I’m married to a wonderful woman, have two grown children and I’m very comfortable with where I am in life though I would, like most folks, like to make a bit more money. Playing music and writing for most my adult life has prepared me to live on a bit less, as long as I can afford to add to our ever-growing library here, I’m quite satisfied.
