Inspiration: Google Street Views

You’ve probably heard that Google has added street level views in major cities to its “Maps” function, so you can see a building as it looks like if you were standing right in front of it. Along with these views are shots of folks as they go about their lives in those streets – and sometimes dong stuff they’d probably prefer not to have been immortalized on Google, like picking their noses or coming out of a strip bar. These slice-of-life moments may or may not be what these folks would want, but I think they are lovely fodder for Ficlets.

While you can go to Google Maps and start wandering down the street, here’s a twelve-pack of photos from C|Net to get you started – some wonderfully evocative moments caught as an image, waiting for you to create a context.
