So, with that in mind, allow me to point you to this compendium of obsolete words: Words that, for whatever reason, have dropped out of common usage. Yes, hard as it is to believe that words like “fallaciloquence,” “oporopolist” and “senticous” aren’t on the lips and tongues of today’s kids, the fact is most of these words have been out of use for decades, if not centuries.
