This one’s just a quickie, since I’m expected at a Memorial Day party – I know, I know, I’m not supposed to have a life, I’m supposed to entertain you- but I think it’s a fun way to get your Ficlet juices flowing: Dr. Grordbort’s Infallible Aether Oscillators. These pistol-shaped pieces of awesome are real (fake) steampunky zap guns made by the folks at Weta (that’s the special effects house that did the effects for the Lord of the Rings movies), mostly just because they could. And who can blame them. Apparently, they’re also selling them, for about, oh, $700 apiece. But looking at them is free.
Just imagine the fun you could have riding a star zeppelin if you have one of these.
