What? You say you want to read yet another “blogger” bloviate on literary issues? Don’t you know that the blogs are the land of the idjit amateurs, the know-nothings that are ruining everything for everyone with their ill-informed opinions about issues they know little of?

Like this fellow: Dwight Garner, starting a new blog called Paper Cuts What sort of experience does this guy have? Well, he is Senior Editor of the New York Times Review of Books. But even so, it’s a blog. Which means, deep down in his heart, this Garner character is just an amateur. and they can’t be trusted to know anything. So, sure, go ahead and read it if you want. Just remember not to trust anything about it. Because blogs are evil. Evil!
