The Queasy-Making Sight of Two Authors Slapfighting

You’ll recall from a few days back my umbrage at a newspaper article in which author Ben Myers discusses online researching in worried tones. Well, it seems Mr. Myers found where I was discussing his article (elsewhere, but linking back to here) and took umbrage of his own. And from there, well, things got a bit silly. Lit blog Galleycat documents the atrocities from there.

You ask: Does this qualify as a genuine lit’ry feud? Oh, my, no. It’s more like school recess tussle; no one actually gets hurt, the spectators are momentarily entertained, and then everyone goes back to class. But, yeah. It’s kinda fun. Beats Nintendo, you know?

Anyway, don’t try this at home. We’re trained professionals.
