Those Striking Writers Crack Me Up!

Remember how I said one of the nice things about the writers’ strike is more amusing picket lines? Here’s the proof:

This is why it’s not smart to get into a snit fight (or labor dispute) with a writer. Because they write. Which means they know how to make you look bad.

Fortunately for the rest of the world, geeks and writers alike aren’t terribly motivated individuals. One of these days, however, we might just get around to taking over the world.

I had the same thought this morning: not only are the big media companies who refuse to negotiate in good faith liars, they’re also stupid.

OTOC , he didn’t say we were geeks; just that we’re equally unmotivated.

Scalzi, thank you for posting this. I miss The Daily Show so very much. The Writers’ Strike has upset me almost as much as the soon-to-be-aired “We don’t need writers” Reality Shows from the bottom of the barrel.

Not to be outdone, the Colbert Report writers have come up with a “response” to that video, from a “network executive.”
