I don’t think this ending would work for the actual movie, but for a ficlet it does because it’s a creative and interesting twist.

The only part I don’t like of this is the last phrase “we have a galaxy to run”... sounds a little cheesy to me. But that’s just being too picky, and overall it’s very well written and I agree more realistic.

ok first of all to robotech, there aren’t any paragraphs to this ficlet i just started a new line for every sentence, it’s just a form that i like to use so sorry if you found it difficult to read.
