The sergeants soldier buddy was gittin itchy I could tell.
he reached for his sidearm, and with lightning speed pulled the trigger.
I was faster(as I said I'm the fastest gunslinger alive, if I do say so myself). That soldeir boy hit the floor before the bullet even left the chamber of his gun.
The sargeant was quick on the draw as well.
Cole's shot hit the mirror behind the bar. (Cole never was a good shot). I Got off another round and the sergeant joined his soldier buddy on the saloon floor.
The gunfight was over. It lasted but a few secinds as I recall it now. Liberty Junction went back to bein a quiet lil nowhere town. I looked over at my friend, the bestest man I ever did know. Smile on his face, sittin in his chair.
