  <title>Comments on 'First Snow'</title>
<subtitle>She glanced up as the flakes fluttered onto her nose.

&amp;quot;The first snow&amp;quot; she sighed
She pulled her coat closer around her and smiled a bittersweet smile. It was nearly a year now. Inspite of everything, memories of him flashed through her mind- resting in his arms near the fire, ice skating at the pond, kissing under misteltoe,Christmas shopping with him. Once again her heart ached a little. She would never get another winter with him.
_It's over. It's been over for almost a year_ she chided herself.

A year now-I've lived a year without his love. The thought simultaneously comforted and saddened her. True she had survived, but the first snow reminded her how much she still missed him.

&amp;quot; Will I ever really stop wishing?&amp;quot; she asked the sky
Her only answer was the snow falling harder and the wind picking up.

&amp;quot;Let's just get back to the apartment and get warm. Maybe something good will happen,&amp;quot; She said again to nobody.
She continued walking-continued trying to forget about last winter's love. </subtitle>
