  <title>Comments on 'Norton's post-apocalypse (part 1)'</title>
<subtitle>Norton stepped out of his backyard bomb shelter alone. He had always been alone. Even as a child he'd had no brothers or sisters, not even a dog, and all of the neighborhood children had scorned his unwashed red hair and oversized belly. And now...well, nobody wants to go out with an accountant.

But now there was nothing to worry about, because there wasn't a person around to not date.

Sweating heavily inside his radiation suit, Norton checked his geiger counter, which reported that the radiation level, even two months after the war, was at an amazingly high level. The sky was dark grey, and the planet was void of vegetation. The only evidence of man's passing was in ruins--streets were cracked, and cars and buildings were in shambles.</subtitle>
