Comments on 'Alexa Triumphantly Returns to the Internet!'It's been a devastating winter for me.
I lost my connection to the Internet, and therefore to Ficlets. (At times, it was like losing a finger or perhaps even a whole limb.)
I learned that networks and production companies were ripping off the writers who had made them so much money. (Not so much surprised as disgusted.)
There was shoveling. (Sn*w is against my religion. I consider it a curse word.)
I fell and really hurt my back. It still spasms.
_But, I've finally found something good_
I got the Internet in my room, which wasn't easy since the house is old. My Comcastic angel had to put in a couple of hours and come up with three or four different "solutions" before coming up with one that, three hours later, resulted in my being able to type this.
I realize most of you weren't registered Ficleteers at the time I lost my Internet, but I'm still excited to be back on the forum. I hope to read, rate & comment on your works soon.
