And the winners are, in the form of X-Men characters cause I'm just that big of a geek: The Rogue Award goes to Storykeeper of Fae for boldly doing the different thing with a prequel, 'Last Day With No Regrets', not to mention a prequel that set up some romance! The Colossus Award goes to The Ghost in the Machine for his unstoppable own little series of stories, 'Under the Elm'. The Cyclops Award goes to Flute Faerie for her contribution 'A Baseball Summer' which continued the theme admirably and added some familial drama. If you're a big enough comic fan to get that, wow. The big winner, The Professor X Award, cause he read my mind and pulled out just the sort of sequel off a sequel I was hoping might happen, went in a completely different direction, somewhere weird, dramatic, and hilarious, and left me giggling and humming, Eckhouse's 'The Great Imperial Caterpillar Death Match'.
