"Yeah, we're two days late with the rent because payday isn't until tomorrow, and he's been calling every two or three hours asking if we've come up with it."
"Right. And do you remember what you said yesterday?"
"Not really. What are you..."
"God, you're so dense! You told me, 'I'd give my right arm to anyone who can get rid of him!'"
"Uh, Al. That's a figure of speech. I just meant I would love it if someone could get him to lay off the harassment."
Albert paled. "Oh... Uh... Do you consider me a real friend?"
