Comments on 'Not Your Typical Storyline'

Emily stared at the ceiling mouthing words as if she expected the dreary thing to speak back. In her case it did.

No, Emily Vance is not a crazy person. Well to some she may seem like one. She can talk to ghosts. In fact, as you were reading the text above she was talking to one.His name was Charles E. Beckworth. A very pleasant man he was.
"Darkness my child...will come." Er...scratch that. Maybe he wasn't so pleasant. Emily lived in an orphanage. No not your stereotypical one, A very nice happy one despite the fact that all the little children were completly and utterly terrified of Emily. Not just the children but the cook, the once a week maid and the entertainer that visits occasionally. So basically everyone except for Mrs. Catterfink, the head of the orphange. And probably the reason Mrs.Catterfink was so kind to poor Emily Vane was because she was too, blessed, or some would think cursed, with the unique power-Ghost Talk.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Emily said back.
"Its almost night."
