Comments on 'Retro Music Challenge (My 100th Ficlet Challenge)'Well, I've really done it now. 100 ficlets. Wow! Truthfully, when I started on here, I figured it would take me a lot longer to do 100 stories. But, then again, given the number of multi-part stories I've done, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I'm just glad so many people are enjoying them.
Now, that said, I should follow tradition and post a challenge. I missed doing one for my 50th ficlet, so I'm hoping this one is interesting enough to people to make up for it.
My challenge is simple: write a story (any genre you wish) that includes at least 4 song titles from the 1980's in the text. (Yes, I'm a child of the 80's. How did you guess? :) ) Please bold the titles in the story, and insert any additional punctuation that you deem necessary to make it fit.
example: "I told you, *we didn't start the fire*! Did you lose all you *material, girl*?"
As this is my first challenge, I'm not going to be picking a winner. I just want everyone to have fun with it. So, enjoy!
