I look around. Where is everyone?

No, no, no, no, this can't be happening.

I look at my compass. It says I'm facing northeast. I see the sun going down. The sun sets in the west.

Dammit!

Wait. Moss grows on the north side of tree. That'll tell me what the right direction is.

Okay, there's a tree with moss on it.

With moss all over it.

On all sides.

No, no, no, this isn't real. The world doesn't work like that.

There's something moving through the trees. What is it?

Mist is moving in. Making it harder to see. And it's getting darker.

Oh, my god! That thing... It's getting closer. What is it?

The sun dips below the horizon. No, that's not right. It's like it was hit with a hammer and _slammed_ below the horizon. It's pitch black out. Like someone flipped a lightswitch. No twilight. Just daylight, then nothing.

I can hear it. It's getting closer. It sounds like it's all around me. I only saw one!

I have to get out of here! I turn and I run right into it. It's huge!

And it's laughing.

Oh, god...
