  <title>Comments on 'The Sun and the Rainfall'</title>
  <subtitle>~May 1995~

*Veronica* walked down *Electric Avenue*, her red hair fluttering in the wind. Suddenly a dark-haired boy came up behind her.
&amp;quot;Hey, Veronica,&amp;quot; he whispered in her ear.
She gasped in surprise and whirled around to face him.
&amp;quot;Johny! What the hell are you doing here?&amp;quot; she asked loudly.
He was supposed to be in college now, and as far as she knew, his summer break didn't start until next week.
&amp;quot;I wanted to see you, baby,&amp;quot; he said.
'Why is he acting like this,' Veronica thought, 'We broke up a month ago.'
When he spoke she could smell the alcohol on his breath, and it bothered her.
&amp;quot;Please, Johny,&amp;quot; she protested. &amp;quot;*Don't stand so close to me*.&amp;quot;
He ignored her request. &amp;quot;Come on, let's go down to the club. *Let's dance*,&amp;quot; he said.
&amp;quot;Johny, I really can't...&amp;quot; Veronica started, desperately trying to come up with an excuse. A silver car drove by, and the breeze it created made their hair fly around.
&amp;quot;You look so pretty,&amp;quot; Johny said. &amp;quot;You want to go see a film?&amp;quot;
She smiled, &amp;quot;Alright.&amp;quot;</subtitle>
