  <title>Comments on 'Ouch...'</title>
  <subtitle>We were no doubt a mile away from the village, but Colleen was way slow.
&amp;quot;Are you sure you're okay?&amp;quot; I asked for the sixth time. &amp;quot; Could carry you.&amp;quot;
Colleen sighed, and pulled up the leg of her dress. I saw a huge gash. I gasped and immediately ripped off a piece of my shirt to try to slow the bleeding. She winced as I tightened the knot.
I turned around and knelt down in the dirt. Colleen hopped on and wrapped her arms around my shoulders. It was really tiring carrying her, but I did my best not to show it.
&amp;quot;I'm pretty sure you're a runner.&amp;quot; She said jokingly.
I half laughed, half panted and walked on.
There wasn't all that much room for conversation, considering I was straining myself for holding Colleen and walking in the dark down a rough forest path. We finally stopped after a while to rest, but Colleen wouldn't settle because of her cut.
&amp;quot;You okay?&amp;quot; I asked.</subtitle>
