It was a waste of time... and tears. I guess that's how we all feel when it comes to being hurt and looking back. It all seems so miniscule now. But was it back then, back then when your heart was breaking. When it took every ounce of strength to get up in the morning. When all you wanted was to be unknown by the world. No, I guess it wasn't a waste. You want to know why? It's because back then you cried for purpose, for that ounce of strength. And those tears, yeah, those are what made you who you are today. Because are they still falling? So those tears are what made it miniscule, weren't they? Looking back today, I hope you know those tears were not a waste of time. They are so much more.
