It was summer when I visited the homestead. it took me fifteen years to finally go home. It wasn't even a good voluntary &quot;coming home&quot; decision. It was a forced one. When I arrived, all the people was waiting. &quot;jesus! what have I done now..&quot; is all I could think looking at them. I do not know any of them. &quot;neneng! neneng!&quot; men, women and children were screaming my name in joy i think...they had no machetes or guns, and they're wearing such happy faces. By God! they really start to look familiar as i got closer. By the time they rallied around me, hugged me, kisses, tears of joy just a-flying all around, I felt the world all around me have instantly changed. The beauty of what human love and touch can do.
