  <title>Comments on 'Waiting Room '</title>
  <subtitle>Once more she found herself in the polished hallways with the flourescent lights. The doctors and nurses all rushed by in their white and turquoise uniforms. She had been waiting for an hour maybe two now. she sighed to herself and stared out the window at the crescent moon.

_It's getting worse. He won't last much longer_

She shut her eyes tight against the tears forming.

_NO!_ she screamed in her head

She hated this. Hated these periods when he was being seen and she was left to worry and wonder. This was his fifth episode since being diagnosed three years ago. It never became easier wondering if her husband would survive or not. Lately, she had been taking walks to the river while he napped. The river they both used to go sailing on when they were young and he was healthy. She was always back before he woke.

&amp;quot;Mrs. Jones?&amp;quot;
&amp;quot;Yes?&amp;quot; she answered
&amp;quot;He's stable right now&amp;quot;
&amp;quot;Thank you&amp;quot; she replied

When the doctor left. She went to the bathroom and for the first time in a long while she cried. </subtitle>
