It's 4 A.M. and she is still up on her laptop writing long emails to her friend in another city. A friend she just talked to online and on the phone four hours prior. They argued about the Flintstones being a better cartoon that Family Guy. Written six more ficlets in just twenty minutes. A new personal record. Continues a new series. Not a romance. She ignores the bags under her eyes. She has to be in work in three hours. She gets another friend, (one who has no problem telling a fib) to call her out sick from work. She stubs her toe and curses softly so as to not wake her roommate. She puts on her favorite CD, Evanesence. While she downloads every song ever sung by Chris Cornell. She hasn't eaten anything and her stomach growls. She ignore it. She is trying to finish her new series before the sun comes up. She thinks of something she forgot to tell her out of town friend. She composes another lengthly email.
