"I don't believe it." Macy mumbled, shaking her head.
"Go ask yourself." Shane challenged, crossing his arms across his chest in the way that radiated in an _I'm right, you're wrong_ kind of air. But still, Macy went toward Derrick and asked him about the fight. His answer surprised her.
"No we didn't fight." He confessed.
"Then why did you tell me you did?" Macy asked.
"You don't understand. Seeing your pain was like...torture to me. But seeing you smile, that's a different story."
"But those smiles were all fake. Don't you see?" she paused, "I love Shane."
