Comments on 'Our Own Kind'

I called my mom and told her I was going to hang at Warren's house for a while. I was there from about 7PM to 1:45AM. He really helped me, alot. We'd be doing something, and then all of the sudden I would go into this crying spell, but he totally understood.

I guess he's just cool that way.
I don't know where I would be without him.
But I don't know where I'll be without Kait, either.

At school, we were our own seperate group, Kait and I. We socialized with other people, of course, but nobody I could consider more than a school friend. That is, except for Warren, but I only see him at the beginning and end of the day. Kait and I would always take the same electives, to the point where we had almost identical schedules. Her locker wasn't too far away from mine, either, just down the hall a ways.

So now I'm stuck. I have no clique to hang out with.
I'm going to have to change myself to fit in with somebody.

Come to think of it, I've always wanted to be one of the populars.

strangly enough, we don’t really have cliques at my school. I am friends with a jock, a gay, a goth, a nerd, and a close to drop out. We do have our own groups, but we mesh a lot. I don’t think that is the case at her school though. Good job a portraying a typical girl that changes herself just to try to fit in.
LoA
