Still foggy as all get-out. The thickness varies throughout the day. At times I can see to the stable and at others I can't see past the railing on the porch. All the dampness is making every board swell.
Walked down the road a ways. Still too muddy to attempt a trip into town. Nearly lost my boot when I stepped into a deep puddle. Had to pull my foot out then pull the boot out. If I try and ride Moses, he'll likely get stuck and possibly break a leg.
Catherine continues to suffer 'fits,' during the day and at night. She usually starts by screaming and calling for Daniel. It only lasts for a few minutes but just an hour ago, it lasted a good 20 minutes. She tried to run out the back but I was able to stop her in time. After I held her down she returned to her usual state of staring blankly at nothing. I'm beginning to fear the worst - that she may never return to me.
Just tried to make some tea but the water's out. Animal must have kicked the pipe again. I'll have to fix it tomorrow as it's too dark out now.
