<title>Comments on 'Prologue: The Corporation, Incorporated'</title>
<subtitle>My name is Carl Bennett, and it has been 8 years since the day of devastation. On that fateful day, the world as we knew it ended in a silent war of horrific destruction.

It wasn't a conventional war of nuclear bombs, soldiers, battle ships, jet fighter planes or even terrorist attacks. Genetically-engineered diseases devastated the world population with a 99% kill rate. The germs were transported through key water supplies and it was over before the world even knew it had even begun.

Only the employees of the Corporation, Incorporated survived this. This human genetics engineering outfit had branches in every continent, a headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany, and the technical ability to destroy the world. I used to think it was a coincidence that I began working there on the day of destruction. I don't think so any more. After all of humanity had been destroyed, I had no choice but to try to survive in the corporate madhouse.

Needless to say, the company had many strange rules we were required to follow.</subtitle>
