"Crazy bastard," Locke cursed, fixing her eyes on LT in frustration, "always being a cowboy! What's Murphy's position?"
"We won't know until they're past.."
"Fire up the Ion Drive. I want to be ready. When he leaves the stratosphere, I want the Amethyst green for go,"
Helmsman Rankin obeyed, his fingers playing across the Nav-Panel.
A crackle came over comes, "Locke... you there?"
"Murphy?" Locke responded, her voice tight, a finger tugging at her jet-black hair.
"Ya, sorry I'm late,"
"You sonofabitch, you're giving me a heart attack up here. What happened?" Locke's eyes were fixed on Comm's LED as it flashed with Murphy's voice.
"Later. For now, I need the Amethyst in place. We'll only have one go at this."
Locke jabbed a finger at Nav, and the Amethyst hummed beneath her.
