Comments on 'Clownfish'

The little girl, Nomonde was her real name, but everybody just called her Nemo, stood by the green sea. The waves washed over naked, cold feet and the wind played in her plaid dress. _I want to be a real Nemo, then I could..._ she thought

The waves parted and Poseidon was riding a dolphin in front of her. **So, little one, you want to be a clownfish? That is a very serious job, you know? Are you up to it?"* He boomed and then smiled just a little bit.

Nemo's little eyes grew as big as seadollars and her hands started flapping like fins so exited and frightened was she.

"O o o oh y y y es" she stammered, her eyes unblinking.

Poseidon twisted his trident staff and in an instant Nomonde was no longer, instead a little orange and white clownfish was lying in the sand, fins flapping, eyes unblinking and gasping for some salty water.

*"Your stage name shall be Poundfoolish. Now come with me!"* Poseidon boomed once more. He scooped her up and they swam off together to find a nice anemone for her to perform in.
