Comments on 'Griselda'"Have the child sit still." Doctor Mandrose spoke calmly into the microphone. He was tucked safely away behind thick mirrored glass.
Griselda's attendants were covered head to foot with thinly lined asbestos suits. Her interior inhabitant could smell it. There was no use in wasting energy on an outburst. Still, her young human mind and body fought to be released from their gripping hands.
"_Enough!_" Commanded Griselda's inhabitant. Her muscles constricted tightly. The attendants released her as she convulsed violently.
Griselda wiped away a tear from her cheek and looked directly at Doctor Mandrose through the glass. He clicked the microphone on again, "Griselda, let the man take your photograph." He tried to keep the wavering from his voice, however unsuccessfully.
"_Let them see,_" hissed the inhabitant.
Griselda moved to the stool and sat, turning her face to the camera.
