It is the 25th anniversary of my 25th birthday, and I am not getting any younger. Life has past me by more quickly than I expected. I never thought I would hear myself tell a back-in-my-day story, but I have. And though many things have changed, my Grandchildren still roll their eyes anytime I begin to reminisce and tell anecdotes; as I did when I was young. When I was young! Seems like a light-year away, or maybe like the snap of a finger. Same difference, as my "hip" Grandchilden now say to me. Did I use it right? It is the 25th Anniversary of my 25th birthday.
