Promises were made And I thought you would never lie You said if you broke a promise The next thing you would do is die Well right now your still here But your lies broke my heart I never should of believed you I knew it from the start I don't want to be harsh Or hurt you in any way But when I make a promise I try to keep the promises that I say I have faith in you But, I really don't have trust You told promises just to break them And now I'm left in the dust Why did I believe you? Why did I let it slide?
