Kyrie shushed him and turned back Collin who was surveying the ominous clouds swirling at the horizon. They flashed odd colors and seemed to threaten more than rain.

&amp;quot;It's not right,&amp;quot; Collin muttered, &amp;quot;It can't be, unless...&amp;quot; He stopped and disentangled his arm from Suzy who'd attached herself to him as soon as the oddities had begun. Still speaking under his breath, Collin began pulling short pine needles from a nearby scrub pine. He cupped a dozen or so in his hands and spoke to them, drawing a queer look from Aaron, which earned him an elbow from Kyrie.

With apparent hesitancy, Collin dropped the needles. They fell, but something was off about their descent. Collin sighed as he marked their landing, all more or less pointing to a battered farm house in the distance.

&amp;quot;Coll, what is it?&amp;quot; Suzy squeaked.

&amp;quot;Dude, how...&amp;quot; Aaron began.

Collin pointed to the house, &amp;quot;Witch. There. She's the cause.&amp;quot;</subtitle>
