○○♥Promises Broken & Backs Turned♥○○'s Stories

_Stay awake
Get a grip and get out your safe
From the weight of the world just take
A second to set things straight
I'll be fine
Even though i'm not always right
I can count on the sun to shine
The dedication takes a lifetime
But dreams only last for a night_ Stay Awake ~All Time Low~

*I have a random challenge up!!! Please ENTER!!! http://ficlets.com/stories/31160*

I am now a member of the LoA. I am the Key Holder of Awesomeness!

~Don't worry, be happy!~

About me...hmm... I'm this:
attempted songwriter/aspiring author/wannabe artist/somewhat creative/common senseless/kind of shy/very scared/introspective/out of the ordinary (to put it nicely)
girl.

I strangely enjoy chick-flick movie soundtracks. Yeah, random, I know

I'm not as interesting as you thought, right?

I constantly change my pen name, this is who I used to be:That Crack In the Sidewalk/Normal is so YESTERDAY!/Losing Forever, Living For ME!/There's Only so Much Time.../got_milk/got_diet_coke/should coulda woulda (but didn't) oh Well!/rolling on the floor laughing (this instant!)

Yeah, I think that's all of them. But for now, I'll stick to ○○♥Promises Broken & Backs Turned♥○○

My favorite line from lyrics is *...being an 'us', for once, instead of a 'them'...* ~La Vie Boheme~ RENT

*Mad Skill Of The Day:*band aid putter-onner

*Song of The Week:* Vegas ~All Time Low~

I am also an All Time Low fanatic. It's an obsession!

Serieses(whatever) that I'm in:

*Hannah & Dallas*
with Emma_Jo234
http://ficlets.com/stories/26475
Twin telepathy, a dash of law-breaking, and Brittish guys! How exciting is that?

*Jaimie & Kyle*
with . :Bandbaby: .

Kyle wants Jamie, but can't have her...yet.

*Hey Jude, Dear Prudence*
with [Pens&Feathers]

I guess you can say they were inspired by the Beatles. In the form of letters, two seperated friends use mail to communicate.

*Heaven Help Us*
with Stovohobo
http://ficlets.com/stories/31088
Two people who die in a car crash and meet in Heaven.

I'm really trying to save the planet. I used to not care about littering or anything, but recently, I walked outside, and...ew... the _smell_! Okay, maybe I exagerated, but it wasn't exactly _great smelling_. Actually it smelt like dry erase markers.

*quotes*:

"stupid people don't know they're stupid"

"people walk in and out of your life, but only friends leave footprints."

"before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes, that way you're a mile away from them and you have their shoes."

"What's another word for thesaurus?"

"The most powerful weapon on earth is the human soul on fire."

"Some people obtain fame, others deserve it."

"I'm lost in a seaishly large puddle of confusion."

"Words should be used sparingly, aimed toward a target."

"That it will never come again is what makes life so sweet."

Oh, and I know this is random, but I love the song _Stay Beautiful_ by Taylor Swift, and _Stay Awake_ by All Time Low

I have been love bitten, thanks to Overlooked_Merchandise ♥ ya!

*I AM IN LOVE WITH JACK BARAKAT FROM ALL TIME LOW!!!! I DOUBT THIS WILL EVER HAPPEN, BUT, IF BY ANY CHANCE JACK HAS A FICLETS ACOUNT, PLEASE CONTACT ME!!!!!!*
See, Never Explain, I told you I was OVER Martin Johnson! : b

Mr. Franklin, once outside, attached the metal rod to his home, hoping it would attract lightning for an experiment. “There,” he grunted after attaching the rod. Then he walked inside, soaked through, and with high hopes.

Inside, he lit a candle and placed it on his wooden chest in his room, anticipating the lightning. As each bolt struck, he counted the seconds between the flash and the roars. “One…two…” BOOM ! It was getting closer.

Then, there was a blinding flash of light, and then smoke. Lots of smoke, Benjamin Franklin’s house was on fire. He ran to the door but tripped over a shoe. He laid there, hopeless and unconscious.

His house burned to the gound, as did he. They found his body, covered in ashes, the next day. But they never found his plans and idea for future experiments…

Jamie had ordered half plain, and I ordered half meatballs. “Have you ever had pizza from here?”, I asked her, She shook her head. “No.” I smiled, “Then you’re in for a treat. It’s delicious.”

I watched as she picked the thin-crusted pizza off the plate. She looked at me, narrowing her eyes as she noticed me watching. Then she took a bite.

Her eyes got really wide and she started to reach for the water. Her face was red and I handed her a napkin. After she took a big swig and wipe her mouth she announced what she thought. “That,” she said pointing at the pizza. “Is hot.” I smiled. Again.

As I picked mine up, I was sure to blow on it to cool it off. “But it was good right?” She shrugged. “I don’t know,” then she grinned. “I didn’t really get to really taste it.” Then she picked i up again, coling it off first. I watched as she put it in her mouth. She closed her eyes.

The scary part isn’t
the fact
that the next time
you step outside
the door of your house,
it might be the last.

It isn’t
the fact
that you may never
hear the words,
“I love you,”
again.

It’s definately not
that every time
you make
a desicion,
you may be
altering
or wiping out
your future,
or even everybody else’s,
forever.

The scary thing isn’t
that each
passing second
may be the last.

No, none of those things
are quite as scary
as
living a lie.
Being
afraid.
Not taking
any risks.

So baisically,
I’m just saying,
loud and clear:

BE A RISK -TAKER, DON ’T BE AFRAID OF LIFE , BECAUSE, ALTHOUGH IT MIGHT BE A SCARY THING , IT’S NOT GOING TO WAIT FOR YOU . LIVE LIFE , DON’T THROW IT OUT THE WINDOW .
YOU ’LL REGRET IT IF YOU DO .

TRUST ME .
JUST DOING THAT IN ITSELF IS A RISK .

YOU ’RE ON THE RIGHT TRACK ALREADY .

I laugh, my voice loud in the empty parking lot, except for the raindrops. And I don’t know why but, with you, I dance in a storm in my best dress. Fearless.
○○♥○○
So baby drive slow ‘til we run out of road in this one horse town. I wanna stay right here in this passenger’s seat. You put your eyes on me In this moment now; capture every memory.
○○♥○○
I don’t know how it gets better than this You take my hand and drag me head first fearless. We can do anything.
○○♥○○
You pull into the driveway that’s so familiar now. And I get out of the car. You intwine your warm fingers with mine as we walk through the door. You stood there with me in the doorway. I’m not usually this way but you pull me in and I’m a little braver. It’s flawless, really something, it’s fearless.
○○♥○○
We can do anything.

I should’ve been sad. But I felt happiness too. I saw my friend, Maggie, who had died of a heart attack. She smiled at me, waving cheerily. “Wow. Halley! Finally. I’m not alone, god, it’s been so weird here. All by myself.” I walked over to where she was mowing her lawn.

“So…” I said, shoving my hands nervously into my pockets. “This is what it looks like?” She nodded, putting her hands on her hips.

I took it all in. From the fresh-cut grass to the chirping of the birds. It was perfect. Except for the fact that I’m dead. But, before all of this, I pictured a cloud as heaven. But now….

There were people all around me. People whose faces I saw in the obituaries, people I knew before they were gone. Everybody. Well, everybody dead at least.

“It’s so…” I began, Maggie still by my side. But something distracted me. In the corner of my eye, I saw a boy, about my age franticly look out the window of the house next door.

There was a familiar red Ford Explorer in the driveway…

200 Ficlets....Maybe a Soundtrack Challenge!!!

Okay, wow it’s been what? Eight months I think. And here I am, 200 hundred ficlets. Finally. So what’s the challenge? Well, it’s fairly simple if you ask me.

I know there have been so many challenges based on music but…

...I couldn’t resist. Music is such a huge part of my life and who I am, I get obsessive. So…..

I want you to make the soundtrack of your life. Include a line from the song that really describes you.

Please sequel this for an entry, and minimum 7 songs. I don’t think it’s too difficult.

I can put an example after this if it’s to confusing or if there’s something you’re unsure of, you can just check out mine.

Wow, this looks short for a challenge. There’s no deadline

Heaven On Earth

I wasn’t thinking when I ignored the stop sign on the intersection of Elm St. and Skyway Ave. speeding past houses. But then it hit me, quite literally. It was a red Ford Explorer that was coming out of an Gulf gas station. It too was speeding, and hit me on the driver’s side. Then all went blank…

I woke up, a thin line of sweat had formed above my lip. The sheets were tangled in my legs, and the clock on my dresser said 8:04. Sun poured through the window, giving the room a sort of cozy feel. I could smell bacon in the air.

Downstairs, someone was cooking breakfast, I could hear the sizzling of the fryingpan. “Hey Grandma,” I said, then hesitated. Grandma died two years ago. I thought about the possibility of another nightmare, quickly deciding that it was.

After breakfast, I went outside to walk to school. Was it just me, or did the population of Clifton drop before my eyes. Then I realized that it wasn’t a nightmare. I wasn’t even sleeping. This is Heaven, I told myself.
