Just my luck! Here I thought I’d be on my way to a large and elaborate toy story, where children of all ages would stare in awe at me as I sat behind a display window, showing off my awesomeness.

But no! Instead I’m drowning in this kid’s ketchup. Doesn’t he know that he’s supposed to play with toys, not dip them in random condiments?

I should have know that this was going to happen, as soon as that smelly dude behind the counter tossed me into that paper bag. It wasn’t long before the kid released me from my plastic packaging and began to torture me.

I suppose it could be worse. I mean, at least I’ve been able to bring some joy to this child’s life, if only for a few moments.
Oh great! What’s he doing now? Whoa, I’m awful high up. Hey kid! Put me down; I don’t like heights! Hey, what are you doing? No! Get me away form your mouth! Where the heck is your mother? I’m not food! NOOO !

Sigh…great. Eaten by a four year old. I guess that’s just another day in the life of a fast food toy.

“Look, there it is!”
The excursionists have finally spotted their destination! Up ahead is the land of Snickleforgabomshilifondo. However, it’ll still take another day to arrive, so our friends have decided to stop for the night and continue on tomorrow.
At this moment, they are huddled around a fire, thanks to Eva and the very convenient new moon. Sir S is skipping around singing loudly. (I have a suspicion that someone slipped something into his food.)
“I’m bringing sexy back! Them other boys don’t know how to act…”
“Sir S, sit down!” Sir D yells, trying to stifle his laughter.
“Ever notice that singing makes people smile?” says Sir G.
“Come on guys, join me!” Sir S exclaims.
“Yeah!” Aurora replies. “Let’s PARTY !”
“Tulum!”
So they begin dancing, throwing confetti, laughing, and having a good time.
However, our friends are oblivious to the danger that is coming towards them. Just up ahead, coming straight for them, is an army. But not just any army. It’s an army of foci and their lead the ellipse!

Pyramids! As in Egypt, Not Geometry

“There it is!”
It was so terribly hot, and so terribly exhausting…this journey was. My buddy, Scott ,and I have been riding through these sandy deserts for days now without any sign of what we were looking for.
Then, finally, there it was. The pyramids. But not just any pyramids…these were filled with undiscovered treasure! At least, that’s what Scott has led me to believe.
“Are you sure those are the pyramids?” I asked.
“Yeah, they’re triangular aren’t they?”
“Well no duh! I mean are those the specific pyramids that have the treasure we’re looking for?”
“I’m 99.9 percent sure,” he answered. He kicked his horse in the side and began galloping off towards the pyramids.
“Come on!” he shouted.
So I followed him. As I would soon find out, that was not such a great idea. For ahead of me in that pharaoh’s tomb, lay a world full a mysteries and danger. Yes, lots of danger.

I sat frozen in the chair. My wrists were sore from being tied up for so long.
Suddenly the door opened, and an older man entered. He did not look too pleased. He glared at me with cold eyes, and then he spoke.
“I’m sure you are well aware of you’re crime by now,” he said in a low voice.
I didn’t speak, but I nodded. I was well aware of the crime I had not committed. The one I was wrongly accused of.
“The world is changing, Alex. We cannot just let crimes like these go unnoticed. In the old days, a lifetime in prison would suffice, but I’m afraid that is not the case anymore.”
The man pulled a pocket watch out of his pocket, and laid it on the table in front of me.
“This is no ordinary watch. In about an hour, you will be free to go, but I wouldn’t let this watch out of your sight if I were you. Once its tick ceases to exist, so will you. However, if you can complete three simple tasks, I will set you free from the deadly watch.”
Then the man left. It was just me and the watch, and time was ticking away.

Dear, um, diary? No, that just sounds weird. But then again, it’s definitely not the weirdest thing going on around here.

I’m really starting to freak out. Before all this happened, someone was getting on my nerves, and I wished that they would just disappear.

Well, I got my wish. He disappeared all right, along with everyone else! I am literally all alone. My house is empty, the streets are empty, the whole town is empty!

How did this happen? I can’t be dreaming, but how is this real? I’ve been trying to keep myself calm. Writing seems to help. Everything in town still works, but it is so weird to walk around in silence.

I wonder if there is anyone else out there. Maybe someone like me, who thinks they’re the last person on earth. What a scary thought!

I’m not entirely sure what I’m going to do. I guess I should try to contact someone, if there is anyone. I’ll keep you updated, since you’re pretty much my only companion.
But I’ll call you Jordan. Diary is just too cliche.

You know, that really awkward year when you’re just beginning to figure out who you are?
I had lots of friends back then, from elementary school. All the girls seemed to like me, but that began to change. I guess I had changed too. Suddenly I was all alone. I didn’t really have a close friend.
I did a lot of reading back then; still do. At recess I’d sit at the table and read while everyone else rushed outside. No one ever noticed, except for that one day.
“Hey, whatcha doing?”
I looked up. There he was sitting across from me, a dorky little 6th grader.
“Reading,” I answered.
“Why don’t you ever come outside?” he asked.
“I don’t know,” I mumbled. I was pretty shy.
“Come with me outside,” he said smiling and showing his braces. “It’ll be funner then sitting in here.”
I was reluctant, but I decide to go. And that’s how it started. That’s how I met probably one of the best friends I’d ever have.

Then Sir Gavin speaks.
“I’d be her slurpee!”

I’m not crazy. Am I? No, surely not. People see imaginary things all the time. It’s perfectly normal. But here’s the thing, I don’t think I imagining this. It’s real, and I’m dead set on proving that it truely exists.
It all started on a normal day, during my algebra class. I was just sitting there, bored of sigmas and such, and I was having a very interesting conversation with my two friends. And then I saw him! Out of the corner of my eye was a white bunny on the edge of my desk. But it was kinda of old and evil looking.
When I turned my head to get a better look, it had vanished! My friends thought I was crazy. I don’t blame them. One day, I had thought I saw a child on roof of a building across the street. But I swear this bunny was real!
When we left class, I looked down the hall to see if it hopped away, but there was no sign of him. He’s there though; I’m sure of it. One day he’ll come back, and then everyone will realize that I’m not crazy after all! MWAHAHA !
Sorry, got a little carried away.

“Mira, wait up!” Rigel shouted. Mira was running at top speed through the field. She was heading straight for where they heard BOOM .
“Look, it’s not that I don’t love to go exploring random and dangerous explosive sites, but could you at least slow down?”
Mira didn’t slow down, and she ignored his sarcastic comment. She just kept running; she was anxious to see what had fallen from the sky. Suddenly she stopped, and Rigel almost ran into her.
“Why’d you stop?” he asked, blowing locks of black hair out of his face.
Mira’s eyes were wide. A few feet in font of her were huge chunks of metal and debris. A few pieces were even glowing.
“What do you think it’s from?” Mira asked.
“It’s probably nothing,” Rigel replied. “If anything, it’s most likely a…”
“Shhhh!”
It got deathly quiet. They seemed to be all alone in a huge empty field, swallowed up by the darkness. But they weren’t alone. The tall grass to the right of Mira started rustling, and suddenly, four orange eyes poked out from the grass.

“Of course I can help your friend!”
This is what Dee the Healer has said to our friends, and that is exactly what she has done. Sir Gavin is no longer purple. Yay! Dee suggests that they stay for a few days, however, so he can recover. They agree to stay, but Carl and Marina must be on their way.
“Bye bye leprechaun buddies!” shouts Aurora as they fly off.
“Zbogom!” says the Croatian.
They are now out of sight, so our friends go up to their room where Sir G is resting in bed.
“Looks like we’ll be here for a few days, guys,” Abella says.
“What are we going to do?” asks Sir S.
“We could play truth or dare,” suggests Sir D.
“Uh, how about you give your Croatian friend a name, Sir Damien?” Quinn says. The Croatian smiles at Sir D.
“Bob sounds good to me,” Sir D replies.
