~tenkou~'s Stories

I've lived in Minnesota all my life. Nowhere else. I've been to many cities, but only one other country. I've been on a plane once, but I do not recall ever doing so. I live with my parents and little brother. I had a dog but he's no longer here. I go to high school and am halfway through my freshman year.

Everything here has changed.” replied Mia
“How long have I been gone? What’s going on? Longer than two years? That couldn’t possibly happen! I mean, you guys all look the same!” she replied as a look of disbelief fell upon her face.
“You’ve been gone for twenty years Ariel.” she said as she sighed.
“What? That can’t be! All this happened in twenty years? Irvin, what’s happened? Why aren’t you looking at me?” Ariel asked. The panic in her voice was apparantly rising rapidly.
“Ariel, you’ve been gone for twenty years and you’re never coming back. It happened on graduation night. We were all drunk and got into an accident. Everyone was okay, but you had been killed istantly.” he muttered quietly.
“What? You’ve gotta be kidding me. This is a joke right? Guys, tell me that this is a joke!”
“Ariel, you were used as a storage unit for the evil entity that would destroy the earth. When you died, it was unleashed.” Lora stated.

Alex, your talent so does not come from ADHD . You focus a lot better than Ryan first of all. And your musical intelligence would be the same anyways. Although I wonder, if people who can’t do improv, like say some people whom I will not mention, who go to our school, would be able to if they had ADHD or some other thing like that. Makes you kind of wonder doesn’t it? Well anyways…. I should probably get tested for ADD someday. Honestly, how many times have I gotten waaaay off topic? Well later. Oh yeah and did you read my story yet? (It’s the ballerina one.)

You’re gonna hurt yourself if you don’t get new ones.” Cairyl pointed out as she put on her tiny tiara.
“You look so pretty in this outfit. It’s like the part was made for you.”
“No. My mom just wants me to do this. I hate ballet.”
“Why? You’re the best one in our whole class!” Anah exclaimed.
“I don’t want this part. Okay switch. But anyways, to get back to my point, this is not what I want to do.”
“Seriously? Any girl would kill for talent like yours. And you say you don’t want it?”
“Hey, I never said I did. As for talent, they can have it. I’m not interested. Never have been, never will be.”
“How can you say that? Ballet is pretty much all you’ve got going for you. You can’t just give it up!”
“Well gee thanks Anah. You make me all warm and fuzzy inside. Really.” she said as she yanked on her friend’s dark brown hair.
“OW! What was that for?”
“For saying that I’m dumb so I should just dance. That’s what for.”
“Okay, okay!

“Isn’t it amazing? Humans have this strange mechanism that kicks into action as soon as somebody figures out that they’re hiding something. As if we couldn’t tell that they were.” ranted Cairyl.
“What do you mean?” Anah inquired.
“They’re too easy to read. You mention one word that comes close to something they’ve done, and guilt reveals itself on their faces. I mean, the facial expression is enough to think that they just jumped in front of a bullet.”
“Why do you always talk like that? Using the word ‘humans’ all the time. What are you? An alien?” a smile crept across her face as she braided Cairyl’s light brown hair.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if I was an alien. I feel like I’m adopted or something. I mean- OUCH !” turning around, she gave her best friend a glare.
“Sorry.”
“So when are we gonna practice our ballet routine?” Cairyl asked as she laced up her new ballet pointes.
“How about now? We have to practice for that spot in the production.”
“No, not now. You’re pointes are too worn out.”

Corey walked past the man without a notice. This wasn’t the first time that her sister had annoyed her to no end. How was anybody to think when she was constantly talking? As she walked away, the man go up and quietly followed her. Not noticing, she kept walking. The silence was soothing, yet it was eery and uncomfortable at the same time.
Her gait hastened as the wind blew softly against her pale skin. A feeling of uneasiness came over her as she wondered who was following her. Whomever it was, he seemed to be trying to match her footsteps. Not daring to turn around, she walked faster.
Turning the corner, she realized that the streets were surprisingly lifeless. It was getting colder and she had not grabbed a sweater before leaving. Despite the fact that she was freezing, she could not shake the fact that the man indeed seemed to be closing the gap between them. Now almost at a light jog, she took a left into an alleyway hoping to escape the stalker. Suddenly, he ran close to her and grabbed her.
“Ahh!”
