I used to wonder if what they told me was true. “You are beautiful.” I never believed them. No matter how much i wanted to, i just couldn’t. The face and body that looked back at me in the mirror was telling me different. “You are not beautiful.” Those were the words that i believed and those were the words that I lived by.
