Wake me up from waves of dreaming
Where I’m stuck inside your mind
Drifting off in clouds of consciousness
Afraid that I’ll be left behind

It turns out that I just can’t sleep
When I’m alive inside your dreams
Skipping after new disasters
Where thought flows in gentle streams

Sometimes I feel like I am drowning
Underneath your dream-spell’s weight
All night long I fight for breath
And it’s keeping me awake

    Ooohh. I like this. It starts so nice and and lovely, but then there’s a twist at the end. It’s very well written.

    How odd. Third poem I’ve read tonight. The first was about a dream. The second was about a cloud. And now this, a dream with clouds and storms and stuff. Your poem was the best of the three, by the way.
