All she’d wanted was a happy life. Instead, here she sits. Cold and alone. Wondering what to do and where to go.
She’d started as such a happy girl. Pigtails blowing in the sweet summer breeze and all smiles. It seemed the sunshine would always keep her company. But then something had changed.
Instead of sugar and spice, she began to feel as if she was filled with spoiled milk and rotten eggs. Those who dared get close to her only ended up hurt, both emotionally and physically. Even her very own parents began to turn their back on her. That’s when her “condition” got even worse. She became almost uncontrollable.
The night she nearly ripped her little brother’s ear off was the night she decided to run away. She couldn’t put her family through any more pain. She put on her warmest coat and simply left the house. No one stopped her.
Now her life has merely consisted of cold days and even colder nights. She eats when she can, but nothing seems to satisfy her. Well, nothing but the taste of human flesh.
