The distance was farther than I had assumed based upon the sound of the water. As I walked the height of the grass increased and the lighting conditions became dimmer. There was walking room between the grass blades; however, not by a straight path. I had to continuously wind my way around the bases of the grass stalks always going towards the sound of the water which took longer than a straight path would have. I stopped at one point and found the availability of the toilet paper a luxury. As I continued, the height of the grass increased and the available light became dimmer.
