Robin entered the apartment of Johnathan Crane. It was mostly empty, just a chair and a sociopath. Crane had been diagnosed sane and was released from Arkhum. Neither should have happened.
“What did you do with him Crane?” Robin asked.
“I see you’ve no need for formalities. Just as well.” Crane responded. “The word going around, is Joker got him.” He stated smiling.
“I swear to find out what you did with Batman,” Robin said as he approached Crane. “and i won’t hold back either.”
“Bite your tongue child,” Crane said, rising up with a look of hot anger. “Frightening birds is my namesake!”
With that fire spitting snakes jumped from Crane’s eyes. Robin backed away as the room filled with their smoke. Through the thick black Robin could see his father. “Timothy, how could you let me die?” he wailed.
“I didn’t dad.” Robin said regaining his composure. “And the dead should stay in their graves.” He threw a blade through the smoke. Crane had run out the front door, but a blood trail remained.
