Laine P. Grey

by Laine the Grey

I swear I already explained this in another ficlet. Well, for those of you too lazy to search through 30+ pages of ficlets, here it is…

I was named for my Great-Grandmother Laine Grey (on my father’s side). She was notorious among her small group of bridge players as the woman who ate kiwis, skin and all.

At the very second she died, I was born. We sorta traded, I guess you could say.

Oh, and “P” stands for “Patricia”.

I always sort of wondered…anyway, that’s a great author’s name…Laine P. Grey, oh, especially the Grey at the end. Ahem.

I think you win for most literal pen name, it being, apparently, your real name. Very bold and daring. Not sure what Stovohobo is going on about, putting Grey in italics, but I’ll just assume it’s an inside thing.
