The fantasies are specific and real, and I always write them down as ficlets. I think of them as tiny pieces of the truth that keep me going as I strive to make daily progress on my book of death. It’s because of you that I do this. It’s because of you that I’m writing this even now. It’s because of you that writers will die by my hand. It’s all your fault. Don’t you understand? Why don’t you understand?! Think of it – the 100 worst ficleteers will go down in history – not because of their writing, but because of me. But no! BECAUSE OF YOU !

I created the Halloween ficlet challenge for the believers. Those that enter will be safe – I won’t kill them just yet. Those who ignore my contest will be at risk. How dare they ignore me? God has told me about that red haired girl with 100 ficlets – she will be the first to die. By midnight October 31st she will be dead. I can see it all so clearly now.

I climb the tree outside her home and wait – planning, waiting, tasting the kill. Because of you!!

    Just a dash of reality / comment – it’s just fiction, playing on the fears of internet connections… Scared myself a little bit with this one. Geez….

    i’m trying to enter but i have enough trouble writing a good story much less a good horror story! i’m not a scary person! (those who know me might disagree)

    Well, I’m glad I already entered the contest, and even sequeled the contest entry several times, something I rarely do, but I did. So, I’m safe, right? Right?!
